Community

Field Staff & Community Volunteers

ELPA Field Workers

ELPA's impact is amplified by a network of dedicated field staff and community health volunteers (CHVs) operating across all five target counties — Bungoma, Busia, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, and West Pokot. These community members serve as the bridge between ELPA's programs and the families we serve.

Our field staff include community mobilizers, peace ambassadors, agricultural extension workers, and health advocates who are embedded in their local communities, ensuring culturally appropriate and sustainable program delivery.

Community Mobilizers

Grassroots organizers who convene communities for health services, peace dialogues, and agricultural training.

Peace Ambassadors

Trained mediators from local communities who facilitate dialogues and early warning on inter-ethnic conflicts.

Health Volunteers

Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) who connect families to RMNCAH, malaria, TB, and HIV/AIDS services.

Agri-Extension Workers

Support farmers with smart agriculture techniques, kitchen gardening, and sustainable land management.
